In 2002 I want to do the following: Finish the three films that I started this fall. Get a job that pays money, not insults. Marry Kathy S., and learn to speak French so when I go to France in November to film I can swear at the natives.

I know, lofty ambitions, but I know with a little work and a lot of I can accomplish them all.

Finish up my 5 minute, 16mm...

Doing a corporate video CD along with a music video in the new year... also pitching a 20 minute and starting the preprod on that.

3) A drama set in contempoary society
4) 2 Music videos
5) 12-year anniversary special
6) Figure out how to slow down the earth's rotation so there is enough time in the day to get all of this accomplished
7) Abandon any hope of a good night sleep

Mine is to get Mortus Illumina firlmly in the can, got two music videos to do and a few other bits and bobs and a few things to give a little bit of attention, plus going to get ready to start going to the trenches in 2003 for my first world war feature.

Also im goign to record a song for Mortus Illumina

Commit first short 'Wakey-wakey' to DV after starting/finishing up storyboards. (1 location and 1 actor only - cool).

Sort out locations etc for a short that I completed the screenplay for earlier this year and hopefully even shoot it (only 2 actors required - cool!).

Write screenplay for short/feature that developed from an earlier idea a friend and I talked about ages ago 'The stray'.

Hopefully begin screenplay for feature that I've been working on for about 2 years.

Have to get a camera too - probably Canon XL1s. Just got Final Cut Pro 2 (need to upgrade it to 3). Sort out my photographer contacts from whom I'll hopefully be able to borrow some lights.

After much planning 2002 is the year to actually start 'making'. All having to fit around my job of course, boo hoo.
